Kaleidoscope recently completed a large art installation for a new modern hospice facility in South Florida. The project’s interior designer selected Kaleidoscope after meeting Jackie Bigoney, Kaleidoscope’s Art Director, at the 2009 HD Boutique Show in Miami Beach. Kaleidoscope was able to offer creative solutions for meeting the client’s overall design and stay well within the budget. In fact, Kaleidoscope’s pricing came in lower than the client expected, enabling the Hospice to expand art into areas that were previously not considered critical for their daily operations.

Hospice’s facility and interior design focuses on creating a home-like atmosphere. Kaleidoscope selected frames, mats and imagery that would enhance the overall design of the facility as well as complement the areas where the art was placed. The images used were transitional and contemporary and reflected the facility’s design intent of incorporating nature in both the exterior and interior of the building. Many of the images harmonized with the special gardens used in the facility’s landscaping and matched the colors and finishes of the interior space.
