Debra Brienen is a self-taught artist working in acrylic. Her work typically expresses the joy and happiness she finds in living, favoring idyllic moments, real or remembered, home landscape, nature, and florals. Her work has been exhibited in many juried shows and received the “People’s Choice” award for the Lemoyne’s 2008 Pillars Project. Debra, a cancer survivor, donates a portion of each sale to the prevention and treatment of cancer.
